Solidatus selected among best of British FinTechs
London, UK – 04 October 2018 – Solidatus, the award-winning data lineage visualisation solution, has been selected to join the Department for International Trade (DIT) at the 2018 Singapore FinTech Festival this November.
The Singapore FinTech Festival, run by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, is the world’s largest FinTech event bringing together 25,000 delegates from the global financial community for a week of networking, pitch sessions, and high-level key notes and panels from industry experts.
The DIT invited UK FinTechs, RegTechs and InsurTechs with a desire to expand into to the Asia-Pacific region to apply for a sought-after place at the festival. In order to be considered for a space on the Trade Mission, hopefuls had to complete a rigorous application process.
A significant number of UK FinTechs applied and Solidatus was one of only twelve to have been selected. As part of the successful application, Solidatus will have a dedicated exhibition stand as well as a speaking slot during a panel discussion.
Solidatus Co-Founder, Philip Miller, said of the event “We are absolutely delighted to have been selected to join the Department for International Trade at the Singapore FinTech Festival. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to take Solidatus to Asia and demonstrate our truly unique data lineage offering. We would like to thank the DIT for their support and look forward to attending what we know will be a very successful and worthwhile event.”
Commenting on Solidatus’ selection, Head of UK FinTech at the DIT, Tomas Helm said “The selection process to join the DIT at the Singapore FinTech Festival is highly competitive and we look to take the very best British FinTechs to showcase during the event. We selected Solidatus as we can see how great the tool is and understand the value it can add to financial institutions, not just in the UK and Asia, but globally. We are dedicated to helping UK FinTechs expand and we believe Solidatus has the potential to rapidly grow in the Asian market and beyond.”
The timing of the FinTech Festival coincides with Solidatus’ plans to move into Asia as they expand their team with a newly appointed Regional Director based in Singapore. This role will solely focus on the business development and brand awareness within the Asia-Pacific market.
The Singapore FinTech Festival takes place at Singapore Expo from 12 – 16 November 2018, with the exhibition from 12 – 14 November. To learn more about the event please visit the dedicated website.
