“Regulators and industry participants are leveraging data more comprehensively than ever, so it’s imperative that they have the necessary modeling tools to analyse it in order to make informed decisions,” Philip Dutton, Co-Founder of Solidatus.

Solidatus is committed to helping shape the future of data engineering, data management and data governance. Data engineering must evolve if it is to reach its full potential, much like other engineering disciplines have. With the exponential growth in data and the systems that hold it, data management is critical to ensuring standards are defined and structures implemented to support the ever-increasing rate of change. Without control and good governance, the already massively complex interconnectivity of systems will cause organisational paralysis without an urgent paradigm shift.

As part of our commitment to improve, we are continuously identifying organisations that we believe hold the same values and that we can partner with. Together we can make a global impact.

We are proud to announce our latest partnership with the EDM Council and are pleased to launch an Advanced Knowledge Modeling tool alongside Version 2 of DCAM®. DCAM is an industry-standard best practice framework for data assessment, designed to assist today's information professional in developing and sustaining a comprehensive data management program. The DCAM Advanced Knowledge Modeling tool enables data professionals and their organisations to more effectively manage their data supply chain and conform with regulatory, data privacy and other business process requirements.

DCAM Advanced Modeling Tool

The Solidatus tool is exclusively available to EDM Council members, who will be able to access a read-only version of the Solidatus models and platform with an option to upgrade to a full-use license. Further discussions are taking place to collaborate on digitising and building additional models associated with other industry standards.

After becoming a corporate member of EDM Council in early 2019, we have continuously collaborated to provide additional knowledge models showing the relationship between DCAM and GDPR, BCBS 239 and other regulations and business process models.

The DCAM Advanced Knowledge Modeling tool will be demonstrated at the upcoming EDM Council Member Briefings in:

  • Singapore – October 9th, 2019
  • London – October 30th, 2019
  • Toronto – November 13th, 2019
  • New York - December 5th, 2019

Co-founder, Philip Dutton, will be present to discuss the models with members and how Solidatus is enabling companies to deliver their data management capability road-map while accelerating value delivery from their data assets. Please contact us at sales@solidatus.com, if you are attending or based in the above cities and would like to meet with Philip.
